“Man, it’s really dark for 8:45am.”
“It’s 6:45, Jen.”

Yup. I’d complained that I couldn’t see the scores on the tv during March Madness IN MY OWN LIVING ROOM. And I’d had to squint at things I didn’t normally squint at. And when people would come into my office at work and I couldn’t quite focus on them, I knew it was time to either start wearing my glasses for activities other than driving and, say, seeing a play or get my eyes checked. And then I waved at someone down the hall at work and it wasn’t who I thought it was, so I made my appointment.
My right eye has gotten worse, but my doctor said it’s still a very slight prescription. And I got 2 new pairs of glasses- one funky purple plastic frame (of course) to replace my current ones that hurt when I wear them for long periods of time and one small wire frame that I can wear all day at work. I even wear them around the house and am shocked at how much I wasn’t seeing before.
The blurry monster is definitely getting closer.
