Well, um, I didn’t either.
But it turns out we do. Lost Maples State Natural Area has maple trees that turned fire red and orange and were completely exquisite about a week ago. The cold front that came through with all the wind got rid of most of the leaves.
But it’s still a beautiful area and we hiked about 3 miles (and up to 2200 feet, keep in mind we live at sea level) and enjoyed the last few leaves that were on the trees.

I cut it short in mid-September, but I just got it cut again this week. I don’t think it’s been this short since I first met you.

if you are weird like me, it looks like your hand is severed and sitting on dave’s shoulder… or that you and him have a thing just like thing form the adam’s family… but it is a girl cause her nails are painted and it wears rings… now i am stereo-typing! DANG!
