It's easy to get sucked in . . .

To the consumerism, man.

I made a promise to myself to keep my Christmas green. I sent out e-cards (that didn’t suck) and the gifts I’ve been buying people are stuff like reusable shopping bags and Sigg water bottles. I’ll bend my rules slightly to buy someone all-natural body products, ie: lotions/soaps with no Sodium Laurel Sulfate or parabens, etc.

And I try to keep my shopping list short. I can’t afford to buy gifts for everyone I want to buy gifts for. So I try to keep it simple by buying gifts for the people who mean the most to me. But at work, people are being very generous. I’ve gotten cards and candy and there are a few people at work who buy gifts for EVERYONE. So I feel obligated to get them something . . . And someone even bought me this, but I don’t know who it’s from!

So I thought about stopping by the mall yesterday after work and I couldn’t get NEAR the mall. Dammit, why do I procrastinate? I’ll just go tonight around 8, maybe? There are only a few things I want to get.

Or maybe I can just bake organic cookies and wrap them individually . . .

Ok, so you got me a SIGG, right? I’m closest to you… ;) I’m sold, and I’ll never buy water bottles again unless there’s not another option!
