That if you try to check in for a flight within 30 minutes of takeoff you ARE NOT ALLOWED ON YOUR FLIGHT? Even if the airport is butt-small and you can SEE your flight boarding from the check-in desk??

I’m still in Alaska. My flight was at 12:55am and Caroline was like, “The airport here is so small, I’ve heard you can show up 5 minutes before your flight. Seriously.”
Nope.
I didn’t have my watch but after my failed attempt to check-in and after calling Caroline to come back and pick me up and after waiting outside and after driving for a while I looked at the clock. 12:37. My flight was at 12:55. I probably checked in at 12:30, at the very latest. !!!!
But there are worse things than spending extra days in Alaska with my seester. 
(And I was kidding about being able to see my flight board. I couldn’t.)
